Who we are

A trading house, not a broker

Gulf Titans International is a physical commodities trading house headquartered on Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai. Three desks work under one set of standards: energy and petroleum, strategic food commodities, and minerals and fertilizers.

The desks serve different buyers and carry different risks, so each is run by people who know its products, its contract forms and its inspection practice. What they share is the way a position is quoted: to specification, never to a description.

Our vision

Essentialcommodities,delivered as agreed

Energy, food and fertilizer are the commodities economies cannot do without. Our vision is to be the counterparty that refiners, millers, distributors and state buyers rely on to move them: specified precisely, contracted plainly and delivered exactly as agreed.

Message from the board

A message from our board

Dear partners and counterparties,

Gulf Titans International was built on a simple observation: most of what reaches a buyer's desk is paper. We set out to be the exception. Every position we issue names a grade, an origin, a laycan and an instrument, and every cargo we move is certified by an independent inspector before it leaves the load port.

We run three desks because energy, food and minerals are three different businesses, with different buyers and different risks. What they share is a standard. We are grateful for the trust our counterparties place in that standard, and we intend to keep earning it one cargo at a time.

With regards,Message from the board

Our values

The principles behind every decision

Our values guide every position we quote and every counterparty we accept.

  • 01

    Integrity

We conduct our business with honesty, transparency and accountability. These are not open to negotiation.

  • 02

    Specificity

We quote grades, not descriptions, and we say plainly when a product is outside what we cover.

  • 03

    Reliability

We do not quote a laycan we cannot hold or a quantity we cannot load.

  • 04

    Quality

Every cargo is inspected and certified by an independent inspector before it moves.

  • 05

    Compliance

Every activity is carried out in line with the legal and regulatory requirements that apply to it.

  • 06

    Safety

The safety of crews, employees, partners and communities comes before any commercial consideration.

  • 07

    Respect

We treat counterparties, service providers and colleagues with respect, whatever the size of the cargo.

Commercial philosophy

We prefer the right transaction to the next one

Volume is not a measure of quality in this business. We would rather decline a cargo than accept terms we cannot meet or a counterparty we do not understand.

Each transaction is assessed on its own merits: the reliability of supply, the credit of the buyer, the practicality of the delivery and the clarity of the contract.

Counterparties

How we work with counterparties

01

Due diligence first

We confirm who we are dealing with, who owns them and where the cargo and the money come from before any commercial commitment.
02

One point of contact

Counterparties deal with the same desk throughout a transaction, from the first position to final settlement.
03

Plain contracts

Our contracts use recognised trade terms and industry forms, and say clearly who is responsible for what, when risk passes and how disputes are resolved.
Business principles

The principles we work by

  1. 01

We comply with the laws of the United Arab Emirates and of every jurisdiction in which we trade.

  2. 02

We do not trade with parties that are subject to applicable sanctions, and we do not handle cargoes of sanctioned origin.

  3. 03

We do not offer, pay or accept bribes or improper payments of any kind.

  4. 04

We keep complete and accurate records of every transaction.

  5. 05

We treat the commercial information of our counterparties as confidential.
